New habits take over time…moreso!
Well, the people that read this should know that I have a gaming addiction. Well, its more of a game buying addiction.
THAT IS BEING QUELLED!
By an anime addiction! Just so typical isn’t it?
I’ve always (always being 8 years) been into anime. Here and there over the years but since having a job I FINALLY can buy all the stuff I wish more regularly. Maybe soon (2 weeks?) I’ll post up a list of what I have and then post how much its kicked my pocket in the groin!!
Speaking of habits, since changing my degree and getting this job, I am constantly looking at programming articles, blogs, wikis and forums. I wasn’t this interested while I was doing it a year ago but I think I have finally found the correct mindset for it.
Now it gets better…
The first contract for this job finishes in roughly a month but I have a second one after it. It should last about a year (depending on quotas) and it requires me to my first bit of *professional* programming albeit lame and something I never though I would do.
I have to write a database and userdoctor-friendly frontend that will be able to manage a few thousand patients as well as, by my calculations, 6GBs of readily accessible PDFs. It will also need to have an easy email and print function.
Sounds fun? It damn well should be and then it will get to the point where I will want to die!
